noob here. what is the cause for all the crackles and whatnot?

When lifting off the throttle very quickly in cars with performance fuel mapping, there's often unburnt fuel that ends up in the exhaust. The crackling is that unburnt fuel burning in the exhaust pipes. Usually you don't hear it unless you have an exhaust system with less muffling.
